Zita, I used to struggle with this too - always trying to fix friend's problems when all they wanted was for me to shut up and LISTEN. It took a friend who loved me to sit me down and tell me I was a shitty listener. This was many, many years ago and I still catch myself when I go into problem solving mode.

Even now, I want to offer advice. haha I won't.
