Yes, and women do the same. When a man focuses only on the exterior, we know he won't stick around when the bloom falls off the rose. But the difference is men make it pretty obvious when they are focused on looks only. When a woman is successful in her career, she didn't get to that place to attract the opposite sex. And that is partly why she is so threatening.
