This story is heartbreaking. But can you please not refer to UTI's as a "disease." I have had them since I was a child (I lost my virginity when I was 22.)

They are NOT caused by sex. They are caused by bacteria trapped in the urethra and some women (like me) are born with an unnaturally narrow urethra.

A disease is viral. A UTI is bacterial. There is a HUGE difference.

Yes, sex can be a trigger for some but I have got them without having intercourse many, many times. And I am not alone.
