This has to be my favorite piece that you have ever written. It's rare that I go back and read something twice. We have had this debate. I struggle with this subject. And I remember reading Fisher's work many years ago and becoming thouroughly depressed by it.

Many of us have been spoonfed this idea of soulmates and when we don't find ours, we think there is something wrong with our DNA. But maybe it is just human nature.

I can't speak for all monogamists, but it is not the polyamoury crowd we fear. It's the serial monogamist. And we might fear them because they are us.
