Thank you for this. I am so tired of the hackneyed assumptions that are then justified with some bullshit cod psychology or evolutionary bogus exclamation.

My last three boyfriends were all 8-10 years younger. I did not pursue them. I would love to meet someone closer to my age, but you tend to meet people based on your friend circle and your activities. Sometimes it is not age that brings people together. It is proximity.

Either way, it's fine to examine cultural trends on sexual attraction, but on an individual level...I wish people would just zip it. Let couples be.
