When I was trying to figure out why my Sisyphean rock of a relationship was getting so impossibly heavy, I actually made him a pie chart. “A his and hers love languages pie chart” to show how we were not meeting each other’s needs. Yes, I was THAT girl. It was meant as a joke but looking back….there was so much truth in that jest.
