Telomeres do not “break away.” That’s not how aging works. They shorten and wear down. Picture an eraser stub. The more mistakes cells make, the more the eraser is worn down when correcting them. Eventually, you have nothing left but metal scraping paper and a sagging arse. That’s aging.
