Sorry, but you are wrong. A UTI is not a disease. It is an infection. Diseases (the damaging of cells) occur because of an infection. But you can have an infection without disease.

And if you are going to write medical articles without a research background please use credited medical sources and NOT Wikipedia.

Here is a definition by the NCBI:

“A common misconception is that infection is synonymous with disease.”
