Sara, So happy your story ended well. I an a severe autoimmune case (on immunosuppressants). Unfortunately, I had zero side effects from the vaccine except the worst flare I have seen in years. My immune system is now punishing me and I have not been able to eat in 4 days.

My GI said many of his patients have flared after the vaccine. I still would have taken the vaccine. I am going to beat this flare. Covid...not so sure I want to wrestle with that lion.
