Pornography can be entertainment for some men, but for the majority it is not. Either way, my job is to look at the data. American Perspectives Survey from the Survey Center on American Life just released their annual gender survey - one of the most credible and largest yearly surveys on gender perceptions. The data on men who watch porn regularly is alarming. 74% self-reported that they feel “self-conscience and insecure” about their sexuality compared to only 34% of men who don’t watch porn. That’s a horrible place to start having open, communicative sex.

I wrote this article so we can address why what men see in porn is so different from what women really want. You think you are are immune to the media you consume not affecting your neuroplasticity. And we will never agree on that one. So let’s just end there.
