My #1 priority on a first date is safety, not entertainment. If I state I am only comfortable meeting at a location where my bartenders will be watching us, I expect that to be honored. I assure you, there is nothing “entertaining” about worrying if someone will roofie my drink. It has happened to several of my friends.

And since I don’t match with people over 45 minutes away, I am asking him to drive an extra 20 minutes. If a guy can’t do that, he is too lazy to date me. I give a lot in relationships. I don’t want to be with someone who won’t match my energy.

Or, he is fighting my boundaries because he plans to hurt me.

Btw, knowing the right restaurants doesn’t make two people compatible. Compassion and compromise do.
