Is Your Relationship Worth Saving after Infidelity?
6 answers to help you decide
Courtney suspected her boyfriend Keith was cheating when he left for a “boys weekend.” She was told not to contact him while he was gone because cell reception would be spotty.
This raised all of Courtney’s spidey senses. So she asked radio show hosts, Karson and Kennedy, to play a prank they frequently play on unsuspecting men. It’s called “The War of the Roses.”
Every War of the Roses show uses the same format. Kennedy calls the suspected cheater while his girlfriend stays silent on the line. Once the boyfriend or husband picks up, Kennedy informs him that she is calling from his cell phone carrier’s customer service department. To show their appreciation to their most loyal customers, they would like to give him “a dozen long stem roses.”
She can send them to any woman of his choice. Kennedy just needs a name for the card.
He then gives her a name (which is never his girlfriend’s name), and then Kennedy asks what he would like the message on the card to read.
That’s when things get ugly. The girlfriend on the line pipes in with some choice expletives and the usual heartbreaking, “How could you do this to me?”
