Interesting. The problem is that those smart girls move away to cities with other smart people and then there is massive competition for the smart men. In Boston, such is the case. It's a really tough place to be single (both genders.)

(And by smart, I mean people trying to learn and better themselves. Maybe the tractor pullers are agricultural geniuses studying crop rotations on the side.)
