I was fully indoctrinated in the Catholic Church before finally breaking free in my 20s. One of the main difference in science vs. religion is science ask you to hold two or more competing thoughts in your head at the same time...and change them at any given point and time. Religion doesn't ask that of anyone. It gives one prescribed story and one only. And lazy thinkers like that.
