I learned a new word recently that you reminded me of in this article - neurodiversity. It’s being used to replace the word autistic. The theory is that labeling people as autistic implies their brains are abnormal. But who is to say what is a normal brain? Or normal intelligence? History is full of geniuses who most likely fell on this “autistic spectrum.”
