I had to make Sunday's content on Conversation with Carlyn (https://carlynbeccia.substack.com/) paid for several reasons.

1. We are discussing sexuality on Sundays. The reader level is 13+. By putting it behind a pay wall, I am preventing the majority of 13 and under kids from reading without their parent’s permission.

2. I can’t work for free. This is my full-time job. My articles take time to research, write, and fully illustrate. People are willing to pay for that content, especially when it is difficult to access without a research background.
