I don't think anyone is fooled by Musk's claim that we don't have enough tech workers. This entire article calls bullshit on that one. We have had multiple layoffs in the tech industry in the last few years. Many of my tech friends can't find jobs, when 4 years ago, their phones were ringing off the hook. And it will get worse.

We can scream, "billionaires are lying" until we all turn as red as MAGA merch. It won't change a thing. So you have to come at them with solutions for their false narrative. Musk is very very rich. If he is disappointed with the motivation and talent level of American engineers, he should start an apprentice program and put his ducats to good use.
