I didn’t get the impression she was saying that using more inclusive language erases women. Her point was that it erases the rights of women. And those rights are being questioned right now in states like Texas. It is similar to how “All Lives Matters” in theory is true. (I would hope that every life is precious). But saying All Lives Matters distracts from the sociopolitical forces that diminish Black people’s fight against racism and police brutality.

I adore all your writing Catherine. But I am behind Ms. Atwood on this one.
