I am in the same camp at Shannon. I am relying on Medium to pay my bills. And I put in a good 40+ hours a week writing for them. When they canned PSILY, they essentially fired all their writers too. (Most of my income was from PSILY.)

And yes, I am scared. And no, a 500$ bonus does not alleviate that fear.
