I am all for the orphans but the problem is more socioeconomic. As birthrates drop and older people live longer, we have an inverted population growth. Economists are worried because that is not sustainable. The younger and middle-aged population must work to support the older generation. When that younger and middle aged population does not exist and society is weighted with older people...economic collapse. We are already getting there and it might be too late to reverse for my kids.
