Thank you for providing a list of terrorist attacks on the Capitol.

I will not compare acts of terrorism with an insurrection. That’s like comparing a sniper to dropping a Little Boy.

What happened on Wednesday was a coordinated effort that led to thousands storming the capital. The last time we had a mob attacking and destroying the seat of government was 1814.

What happened on Wednesday was an act of war. If you don't consider it an act of war, then ask yourself this - what if they had succeeded? Terrorism is designed to illicit fear. Insurrections have a dual purpose - fear and an overthrow of government.

I do appreciate you reminding people of domestic terrorism but I will not confuse the two. And I hope no one else reading this article also makes that mistake.
