Hi Alan,

So I have this wacky theory that touch is more of an umbrella love language and shouldn't be given the same value as the other ones. (Some of my friends disagree.)

I am looking at it from an anthropological standpoint. Humans were communicating through touch before we spoke to each other, so it is part of our lizard brains.

As a big hugger, I find it odd when someone says that touch is not one of their top two love languages. It's human nature to touch. It releases oxytocin, dopamine....and just feels good. We are designed to touch. (This might be a future article ;)

Either way, Chapman's book is like an oil change. It doesn't take long to read and is necessary for relationship maintenance.

You know how I feel about MBTI...not a fan.
