Evangeline, You are very brave for telling this story.

But I have to say, he sounds like quite a douche for implying you are not a "high value woman" after 3 months of knowing you.

An ex once asked me if I ever cheated on anyone and I admitted that I did when I was young and stupid. And it proceeded to torture him because of HIS insecurities. My therapist even said - "You should have fibbed. There was no need to tell him the truth."

I am not condoning lying...ever. But it really was none of his business in the first place. And no one should be judging anyone for their past mistakes (unless your past mistakes are a pattern of hurting others.)
