For a man who claims to understand the scientific process, Elon Musk seems to have missed the lesson on the "burden of proof."

In the scientific process, the "burden of proof" refers to the responsibility of a researcher to provide sufficient evidence to support their hypothesis or claim. In this case, Musk has made fantastical claims about government waste and has provided no proof.

This week, Musk and his snoop DOGEY dog team boasted that U.S. Treasury fraud costs American taxpayers $50 billion annually. Receipts? None.

To be clear, there is plenty of government waste. Maybe if Musk quit mocking blind people and opened his goddamn eyes, he would find the real waste. Instead, he has given Americans a firehose of lies — 50 million dollars in condoms sent to Gaza, 150-year-olds collecting social security, and government dollars spent on "studying magic," to name a few.

I started rubbernecking his tweets right about the time he channeled his inner Hitler and called people who need federal aid the "parasite class," followed by a bizarre post claiming Jews are white because…
